Melbourne man Wassim (Sim Cardashian on YouTube) survived 538 days of Dan Andrews’ brutal lockdowns — curfews, 5km radius, $10k fines — then famously lost it at the sight of masked sheep queuing for their daily donuts. Unfiltered lockdown resistance at its finest.

Triccy:
Now a man that lived through the dictatorship of the Dan Andrews Labour government was a brother named Wassim and he made that video and he's driven up to be with us here today. Let's welcome Brother Wassim up onto the stage. So you stood out to me, you made a video and we'll talk about that video a little bit later, but tell us up here in Brisbane what it was like down in Melbourne in the most tyrannical oppressed area in 2020 and '21.

Wassim:
Yeah, thanks Triccy. I think it was something like 538 days we were locked down for in total and it was not nice. We had curfews, we had 25 kilometre radius limits. We had five kilometre radius limits. I got about $10,000 in fines, which I won't f***ing pay. Yeah, I gained a few followers from that and I haven't stopped swearing so if you do decide to see what I'm about.

Triccy:
There is a rule on the TPR stage, 10 pushups per word.

Wassim:
I don't know if I can handle it. They locked us out of the gym, so I don't know if I can handle those 10 pushups. There was a time when they had closed down gyms. They had closed down health food shops. They'd locked us out from going outside.

Triccy:
So let me just jump in quickly, what's in? This video, it was a (Facebook) live, wasn't it?

Wassim:
Yeah,

Triccy:
It was alive. It was alive. And I saw this man I've never seen before. I haven't seen it since that day, but it really stood out to me. I find many things humorous, but it wasn't humorous. It was serious. Explain to us what happened. You got out the car, you went into a donut shop. Tell us what happened.

Wassim:
Yeah. I don't know if you guys have seen it. It's pretty, I guess, popular in Melbourne, but I was just going to do my shopping. It was locked down 4.0 in Melbourne and I got out the car to do some shopping and there's Daniel's Donuts open and you got a queue of people queuing outside. Remember there's a pandemic. There's a pandemic.

Triccy:
Gyms are closed?

Wassim:
Gyms are closed.

Triccy:
Health food shops closed.

Wassim:
Yeah. You had Maccas selling milk so that they could stay open because their food is just junk, right? So you had them selling milk and bread so they could stay open. Anyway, I get out of the car and I just noticed that the Daniel's Donuts shop is open and there's a queue of people out there with masks on. And I'm not proud of it, but I lost my shit and hilarity ensued. Truthness ensued. Okay. I don't know what I said, but it resonated with a lot of people. We won't repeat it here.

Triccy:
No, we definitely won't.

Wassim:
But feel free to look me up. My artist's name is Sim Cardashian. It's Kardashian with a C, not a K. It's a piss take, all right? I don't like the Kardashians.

Triccy:
The reason why that video stood out to me was it was an expression of the simple fact of the stupidity of this whole scam. And people were just masked up in a donut shop buying donuts and thick shakes so complicit, so complacent. And it's those people that prolong this for everyone. And he just reacted.

Wassim:
He was stupid.

I didn't plan it. I did not plan that. I don't know why I decided to go live. It's just a thing I do because I don't know. But I just happened to go live and it just spilled out of me. I'm not exactly proud of how I went about it, but I think the fact that so many people resonated with it really showed me that people were really feeling what I was feeling. And up until that point, I felt completely alone. And after that point it was a real difference for me and I think a real difference for a lot of people.

Triccy:
I'm not recommending anybody watch it anyway, by the way. It's just why I remember this man. Now he's contacted me. He's a bit of a muso and he's written a couple of good tracks, so he's here to perform one right now for us.

Wassim:
Sure. Yeah. This song's called Medical Apartheid.

Wassim (singing)

♫♪♪ Are you dead inside? We got to stop this medical apartheid. Get onsite before they take awayir freedom then all right? Cast your masks outside. In the confusion you fighting on the wrong side, get on side. They try to conquer anybody. I can't believe my eyes. All I see is sheep. I'm awake of standing here. I count them as they sleep. Believe in all the lights. They follow and obey in the darkness. They can't see the light all day. It's like a man and nightmare. You let me know one can hear me. I've tried to help them. I try to tell them that they can't see clearly. They breathe their mirrors. I try to tell them they won't listen. How can they breathe? How can they breathe? How can they be in these conditions?

♫♪♪ How can they live in these conditions? How can they be? Are you dead inside? We got to stop this medical apart get onside. Before they take away our freedoms and our rights, cast your masks outside. In the confusion you fighting on the wrong side, get on side. They try to conquer a divide. Pass sports, please. They assaultly submit to them to follow up only. Their back scenes are so timely you inject out of fear in a hurry. Aren't you aware that it's a war on your mind with the bullets on guns inside? It's worthwhile free and now the shots they're firing are in the reason and taking your lives. Their propaganda is rife. Police knock on your door in the middle of the night and look you up for no crimes. Who all sits the ship is on the right. They're watching every move and make.

They put the cameras up in every part of the place. They tell you it's all your health and has nothing to do with their money on their wealth and has the thing to do with their money of their wealth.

Wassim:
We're not stupid.

Wassim (singing)
♫♪♪ It has everything to do with their money. Are you dead inside? We got to stop this medical apartheid onsit. Freedom's done all right. Cast your masks outside. And with the fusion you fighting on the wrong side, get onside. They try to conquer and divide. Are you dead inside? We got to stop this medical upon getting onside. We've got to take away our freedoms and our riots. Cast your masks outside. He lived the fusion. You fight it on the wrong side. Get onside. They try to conquer and divide.

Wassim:
Thanks, Kicker.

Wassim (singing)
♫♪♪ Love the sunshine and love the rain. Love love, but I still feel pain. I still feel the pain. Guess what makes us human, makes humans to blame? Starting on that setting us free. It's just a monetary game. They're trying to take our freedoms. They're trying to trade our soul to get away all right to peace. He's the only goal. We play and follow the leader down a one way road. Turning all the lights out in your mind before control. How can you know for certain? How can you know for sure if all what you're ever given is all that you'll ever owe. Trust nothing they tell you and never do what yourself. Make your own decisions. It's the only way to stay in control. I love the sunshine. I love the rain.

♫♪♪ I love to love, but I still feel pain. Must feel the pain. Guess what makes us human makes humans complain? Studio are not setting us free. It's just a monetary game. They got the money and they got you sold on a dream that you'll never own. What's a dream about the freedom of choice? And what's a choice when you don't have a voice? When you're not in control, you can never be free. This new world, all this gathers down on a lease. There's some laws with no consent. They're killing people just to pay the debt. Why is so still worth the sent and why you're living on the edges time to rise and it's time to fight. I don't know where it ends. Your freedom is burned. It's time to rise. I love the sunshine and love the rain. I love to love us to feel pain and to feel the pain.

♫♪♪ Just what makes us human, makes humans to blame. Setting us free. It's just a monetary gain.

Triccy:
